At over 110 years old, Camp Pine Crest has seen many faces. If you have taken part in any programming on our site - congratulations, you're an alum!

Our hope is to gather more of our Alumni together to create a formal group to keep the history of Camp Pine Crest alive and help pass it on to new campers.

Work Weekends

Missing Camp Pine Crest but can't make it to one of our family or group events? Get your fix by helping us out during a work weekend! Come up to Pine Crest for the weekend and get room and board in exchange for helping us maintain our home away from home. Students can use the time as community service hours!

Work weekends happen in the spring and fall each year, stay tuned to find out when our next one is happening! Keep an eye out on our social media pages for announcements about the next work weekend date.

Pine Crest Adventure Triathlon

Join us for our Adventure Triathlon and Open House Fundraiser!

For those aged 16+, you'll Swim 600m, Run 5.1km, and Paddle 2.5km to Snake Island and back. Only the very best can finish in less than an hour, are you up for the challenge? Younger Pine Crest friends can participate in our Youth Fun Triathlon (9-15 yrs) or Children's Biathlon (5-9 yrs). Funds raised go towards the YMCA’s financial aid program which helps subsidize Y programs and camper fees so families who may otherwise not be able to afford it, can send their kids to camp.

Polar Dip

Freezin' for a Reason

Every year, our Pine Crest team take the icy plunge into Clear Lake to raise funds and help send more kids to camp. We're not just testing our cold resistance; we're doing it to raise $5,000, making camp dreams come true for kids who need a little extra support.

This year's Polar Dip will be on March 16, 2024, at 12 pm. We invite you to join the excitement by tuning in on Pine Crest's Facebook page for the live jump. Whether you're donating, starting your own fundraising campaign, or feeling the urge to brave the chill with us, your support creates ripples of joy that last a lifetime.

Alumni Events

Twice a year Camp Pine Crest hosts Alumni Events so we can all get together and reminisce about our favourite place. Whether it's at Pine Crest reliving our glory days or celebrating the Holiday Season at a restaurant in the GTA, we look forward to seeing and catching up with everyone!
